Taking Notes By Andy Sporring - Issue #55
Hi! ;)
Time passes fast when you have a lot of fun, or? Here I am, still recovering from one of my nastiest colds in ages. And that hasn't been so0 fun. As if I don't have enough already anyway?
Enough complaining now...
The April Cohort finished on Sunday, and I'm a proud captain to see a couple of my crew graduate to the Captain's Table.
The next cohort of Ship30for30 isn't until August. But you can sign up here already with this link and get a $100 discount! Enroll in Ship30for30 August cohort
Next for me is working on, and starting a podcast together with Alessandra White, where we will focus on creativity and mental health.
My Updated Twitter Bio And Header

#OnMyReadingList

I'm waiting for Tiagio Fortes's book: Building A Second Brain that I preordered months ago to turn up on my Kindle. So I have to wait until June 14th for that to happen. It's probably the most anticipated book I have waited for.
My Recent Articles
Been too busy with other things + my cold, so no new articles. But there are articles coming in June!
My Best Essays This Past Week
These are my own favorites of my Essays over the past two weeks, and yes I know there are two essays with the same number. I accidentally jumped over one number, so getting back on track isn't that easy.

Five Links I Find Interesting
I used MyMind for about a year, but it cost too much, so I changed to Raindrop.io instead.

In this interview with Tobias van Schneider, we talked about the memex as described by Vannevar Bush in 1945, how our mind doesn’t think in lists and folders, the use of artificial intelligence to catalog and find the information that matters to us, the concept of memory indexing, how we might think differently if no one was watching, and more.

The world-leading data law changed how companies work. But four years on, there’s a lag on cleaning up Big Tech.
Longreads are a great passtime if you don't want to read a book.

This week, we're sharing stories from Laurie Penny, Josh McColough, Will Di Novi, Kent Russell, and Christian Wallace.

Twenty-one great articles and resources about the art and science of cultivating creativity.

A new service called Heyday wants to act as your intelligent information organizer—without ever forcing you to lift a finger.
Things & Stuff
An app I highly recommend is Raindrop.io I use it among other things to capture essays from my fellow shippers, images I like and might want to use, and links.

Not The End, But....
I'm planning to join the 100daysofnocode challenge, to learn and understand that as a part of my skills and knowledge. Maybe that is something you are interested in too?
Bonus
I have followed these Mexican sisters for about 7 years now, and they're freaking good! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Warning_(band)
