Musings Of Sporring - Issue #40

Wow, my 40th issue... This is huge on so many levels for me.

This issue also marks a shift in my publishing pace. I have decided to make it a monthly issue. With (probably) extra issues sometimes. Bi-Weekly publishing has been challenging and fun, but now it's time to start focusing on my writing of articles and the book(s), and life in general as my move is finally coming to an end. I have been living with my daughter and her family for the past six months and it has worked out beautifully, but now I'm moving into a yard house on their property. A 'tiny house' with all the facilities needed.

A Journal Of Thoughts

  1. I have been going through a lot of changes the past two months, and I'm so happy that I can feel the changes in my psyche as well as physically. One of my closest friends Eric, said that since we git to know each other (2008?) he had never seen such a massive change with me.

  2. I have finished my neuro therapy now, and boy, what a difference that had made. But since Parkinson is a degenerative decease I guess in 2-3 years time I hope to get back there and repeat my regimen.

  3. I'm setting up my schedule to continue the training I have done at Stor Sköndal.

The work that I'm best known for is flow theory and the studies of flow experience. People have applied the studies all over the world, and it has influenced many schools, factories, offices, and even political systems.

Taking notes in the form of journaling is analogous to having a conversation with my own mind. The realization struck me as, over time, my usage of Roam Research to document my daily thoughts, ideas, musings, research findings, and insights grew more frequent.

New ideas power our world. They are the source of every great advancement mankind has ever known. So it’s not surprising that entire ecosystem of creativity tools has sprung up to support their generation, capture, incubation, evaluation and implementation.

What do Alex Berenson, Bari Weiss, and Glenn Greenwald have in common? They’ve all railed against being deplatformed—be it a Twitter ban or the loss of a job at a prestigious publication—only to find a new home and great riches on Substack.

I want to listen to podcasts more than I should. However; I have to get past the issue I have with any media that I listen too — I want to take notes on everything that I listen too.
